Whitehouse will create 4,400 new homes and will also be home to a range of employment uses including B1, B2 and B8. The development already has the newly built secondary school Watling Academy open to pupils. Three primary schools will be built to support the secondary school. Whitehouse Primary School is already open to pupils and the Calverton Primary School is due to open September 2023. Community uses, indoor sports & other leisure facilities, burial ground and Open Space & Play Areas will also be accommodated. Three ponds have now been created as part of the sustainable Urban Drainage system with two more to be constructed as the development continues.
Whitehouse Medical Centre is already built and open and receiving excellent reviews. Punch Retail & Leisure have successfully let the two retail units within the medical centre, a pharmacy and a coffee shop (due to open summer 2021).
